A shirt for Chloe

This is like T-shirt fabric but a little stretchy. I hope it fits and that she likes it.

Kyle PJ's

Ok so I could not stop sewing. I am adicted to sewing and should embroider myself a shirt that says so. But I know I am not the only one out there.
So these PJ's are for Kyle. He was a bit jealous that I made the girls all those dresses. Whats next you ask? Well Its Chloe's turn. So I have to find some fabric I already have to make her a shirt. I already have the fabric.

Grammy loves me

Ok this was a regular T shirt but now cut to be a muscle shirt. WHY?? Well I wanted to embroider Grammy loves me on a shirt for Kyle. Did good on the Grammy part but could not figure out how to get the needle to move down for the second line so I decided to just move it myself. Well the Loves Me turned out nice but there was only one problem. The sleeve was embroidered with the Love me and it was ruined. Kyle said its ok Grammy, you were practicing anyway. Well I tossed it in the trash. Kyle saw it and took it out and said you are going to throw it away? I told him it was ruined and he said maybe you can cut that part off and the idea came to me. Cut the shirt into a muscle shirt. Kyle is happy now and I am satisfied. So here it is. I did cut the sleeve inside as close as I could. He said it was lumpy but he also said he didn't care.

Mya and Tira dresses and more

Ok I know I went overboard and I have no idea why but here is another dress, shorts, hats, purses and for the American doll there is a sleveless dress with a poncho to keep them warm on a chili day.
I know I am crazy but hey, what can I say, when my grandchildren love me to sew, and I love to sew, and they ask their Grammy to make them birthday presents. Well I just have to do it. Mya had only asked for one dress but I had to make her two and Tira to match. Now Tira has no idea about the matching dresses. So she will be totally surprised. It was a hard to make up my mind to send them the same day or days later, but Tira may be upset when she sees the baby clothes. So we, Christi and I, decided to send separate packages but mail the same day.

American Doll dresses

I had some fabric left over and thought of making shorts for the girls but I didn't have enough so I decided to make American Doll clothes to match their dresses. This dress is strapless but below you can see it comes with what they call a Shrug. Anyway it turned out really good.

Kyle PJ's

Here are some pj's for Kyle. He was really happy that I made them but he did let me know that the hem was not exact on the sides. So now I am an ok sewer he said. I was a good sewer he told me. Can't satisfy everyone I suppose.

Tira and Mya's Birthday dress and hat

Here is dress #1, I have to make another matching dress for Mya too. Mya requested a purse with the dress for her birthday, I will be making it and a hat to go with it too. The hat she did not ask for but it is a surprise.

shorts

Here are two pair of shorts I made. Now the pair on the right are stretch so of course I can get them on but the other pair, even though they look bigger than the others, well the waist is not big enough. I have a fat stomach and neither look good. I need and will have to work harder to get it down. Wish me whatever you can.
Oh the shorts on the left I did not hem cuz they never fit so why bother.

I keep trying different patterns, So here is another summer shirt. It is so hot here now that it is well needed.

Matching shorts for brothers

These are matching shorts for the brothers, Joshua and Jacob. You cannot tell but they do have pockets on each side.

My first colored embroidery

Ok Christi suggested that I try to embroider my towels first. So that I can get use to it. I thought what a great idea. You really can't hurt the towels. After all who really looks at them. Anyway I took this dish towel and put a butterfly on it, as you can see. It looks really great, only one thing. I put it on sideways, instead of longways. So If I fold the towel and hang it on my stove. Well you cannot see my butterfly. Practice makes perfect.

Another shirt for me

I keep trying different patterns because I want to better my skills. I have forgotten so much. So here is another shirt. This pattern confused me. It showed buttons on the front of the package but no where in the directions did it show you how to do the buttons. I thought they must be buttons just for looks but then I could not understand how you would get the shirt on. So I had to make adjustments and create my own button holes.
